Scalability, Flexibility and Manageability
VTrak S3000 is very exible. Two units can be connected creang a redundancy
pair. Capacity can be deployed and scaled eciently across mulple servers and
geographic regions. Legacy storage devices can be migrated to high performance
virtual storage, eliminang islands of unused capacity.
To put it simply, VTrak S3000 improves an organizaons ability to meet changing
demands through hardware consolidaon and pooling of resources.
Most organizaons today operate from mulple locaons, making it imperave that
data be replicated across locaons for business connuity and disaster recovery.
With VTrak S3000 DeltaScan technology only the highly compressed changes
need to be to be replicated to remote sites. Change informaon is sent with full
encrypon enabling the use of public or private WAN connecons. Failover/failback
capabilies allow local day-to-day operaons to failover to the remote site in the
event of a disaster.

Server virtualizaon can present technical challenges for storage. Consolidang the
usual suite of enterprise applicaons onto virtual machines can introduce resource
contenon at the physical level on both the physical machine and the storage
plaorm. VTrak S3000 gives users the ability to create pools of virtual storage across
physical hardware. This gives administrators the power to create and deploy unique
applicaon specic storage pools, alleviang resource barriers of small storage silos.
Trac across virtual disks can be balanced across ports and datastores. VTrak S3000
can even be provisioned with massive shared capacity while maintaining opmal
data placement on the physical media.
