The Pegasus R4 and R6 enables the amateur or pro-
fessional, audio engineer, photographer, and post
production engineer, a convenient, worry-free way to
safely store massive projects, so you can devote more
time and creativity to doing what you do best. Up to
12TB of storage is available in a single Pegasus R6 de-
vice, that’s equal to 400 typical dual-layer HD DVDs.
To add more capacity, simply daisy chain more Pega-
sus enclosures for up to 36 HDDs of storage.

The Pegasus R4 and R6 are the world’s first Thunderbolt enabled hardware RAID storage so-
lutions. Features include two Thunderbolt 10Gb/s bi-directional channels, and our renowned
PROMISE enterprise-level RAID protection. Pegasus provides fast, safe and reliable external
storage to protect your expanding library of music, photos, videos, and other valuable data.
Configure your Pegasus R4 and R6 to the RAID level that suits your needs; RAID 0 for extreme
performance, or RAID 6 for data redundancy and performance (full data protection even if
two disks fail), or anything in between.
Total Audio/Video Post Production Solution
The Pegasus series of Thunderbolt enabled storage devices are designed especially for content
creators. Use Pegasus as a key component in a flexible, portable digital media post production
solution offered by PROMISE. The PROMISE total solution includes the SANLink Thunderbolt
to Fibre Channel adapter and our scalable VTrak storage subsystems. Seamless sharing of
digital media assets is done easily between your a Pegasus/Mac workstation and permanent
storage/backup on the VTrak using the SANLink.
